APhMS in the 21st Century

On November 6, 2014 join the Applied Physics and Materials Science (APhMS) faculty, alumni, students, staff and corporate friends for a day of connections and discovery.

Catch up on the latest research in Applied Physics and Materials Science while reuniting with old friends and colleagues on the Caltech campus. Attend faculty talks spanning quantum engineering to physical biology; hear a panel discussion on the future of alternative energy; and participate in poster sessions and lab tours.

Our one day glimpse into the 21st Century will close with a reception and banquet at the Athenaeum. Joining us will be keynote speaker, Dr. Arati Prabhakar, Director of DARPA (Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency) and Caltech Applied Physics alumna (M.S. '80, Ph.D. '85).
