Alternative PhD Careers Club - Career Exploration Panel

The Alternative PhD Careers Club will host a panel to provide advice on how to transition from your PhD into an alternative career. Four guests from Caltech's past and present will provide advice on connecting with alumni, making a career transition, and how to deal with citizenship issues.

First off, we will have the associate director of Caltech's Career Development Center joining us. In addition, we will have a representative from Caltech's almuni association to advise on contacting alumni about their career changes. We will also have a representative from Caltech's International Scholars Service to explain how to deal with citizenship issues when job-seeking in the U.S.. And, we will have a career counselor who specializes in helping Caltech postdoctoral scholars.
