Graph Cohomology via Toric Geometry
Dagan Karp, Associate Professor of Mathematics, Department of Mathematics, Harvey Mudd College,

We construct a natural cohomology ring for any finite graph G. Our method involves toric geometry and graph associahedra. The resulting presentation is combinatorial, and allows one to read the cohomology of G directly from G, without knowledge of toric geometry. This work is joint with Matthew Lin.
