Filling Legendrians with barcodes

I'll discuss an ongoing project, joint with Alvarez-Gavela and Eliashberg, to construct fillings of Legendrians via moduli spaces of barcodes. The first step involves a closer look at various phenomena in and around rulings of Legendrian knots.
