Title: Novel Motion Planning Algorithms for Multi-Agent Systems and Swarms
Saptarshi Bandyopadhyay, Robotics Technologist , JPL,

Multi-agent systems present exciting opportunities for achieving complex tasks that are difficult or impossible for a single agent, with significantly enhanced flexibility, adaptability, and robustness. In the first half of the talk, I will present a brief introduction of multi-agent systems and swarms and their applications in various domains. I was also discuss some exciting multi-agent missions being undertaken at JPL. In the second half of the talk, I will discuss two novel motion planning algorithms for multi-agent systems and swarms (comprising of thousands to millions of agents).
