On Seminar Day, alumni return to campus to hear faculty presentations on current research and innovations and to reconnect with fellow alumni. The midday general session features a keynote speech and the presentation of the Distinguished Alumni Awards. This year's speaker will be Dr. Irving Weissman of Stanford University, who will discuss California's stem cell research efforts with Caltech president David Baltimore.
