2018 Caltech Chess Spring Tournament

Free chess tournament with food and cash prizes for all skill levels. Open to all members of the Caltech community.

Round Times: First round at 12pm, will end approximately 3:30pm
Entry Fee: FREE, please sign up in advance at https://goo.gl/forms/EmA2Du8wJhDtjh8i2 or arrive at least 10 minutes before Round 1.
Format: Everyone plays every round, can take up to two 1/2-point byes requested in advance
Prize Fund ($100 total): 1st - $40, 2nd - $20, 3rd - $10, Top Unrated - $20, Random Drawing - $10
Time Control: 15 minutes each + 5 second increment (5 seconds added per move)
# of Rounds: 5
