WHAT: The California Institute of Technology's ninth annual King Day Observance
WHEN: Monday, January 19, 12:15 to 1:30 p.m.
WHERE: Ramo Auditorium
WHO: ·Musical selections performed by the Pasadena City College Gospel Choir;
·Introduction by Caltech President David Baltimore;
·Keynote speaker Tommy Hawkins, vice president for communications for the Los Angeles Dodgers, will give a talk entitled "Martin Luther King, Jr.: Star of an American Revolution."
In addition, there will be an evening program honoring Dr. King's life and legacy in song. The musical celebration, directed by PCC's choir director, Betty Griffin Keller, will begin at 6:30 p.m. in Ramo Auditorium and is entitled "The Challenge of Unity."
