"Canary: the Fight for our Future begins at 18,000 Feet" is an inspiring documentary about a climate scientist, Dr. Lonnie Thompson, who is deeply committed to documenting climate change. He ventures to find the most impossible-to-reach glaciers by drilling for ice cores that can tell us how the climate is changing. His entire mission in his life is to document and recover these ice core records before they are gone forever. This documentary is an adventurous and thrilling film that will inspire you to "reach for your goals" and to "never give up." You will see how, despite a near life-changing event, Dr. Lonnie Thompson kept pushing on to accomplish his mission to preserve these records for all of humanity. This film is awe-inspiring and you will not want to miss it.
