Quicksilver vibrantly explores the rich chamber music repertoire from the late Renaissance to the High Baroque.

"Revered like rock stars within the early music scene" (New York Times), the ensemble brings together today's top North American historically-informed performers. Described as "drop dead gorgeous with a wonderful interplay of timbres," (Early Music America) and praised as "irresistible" (Fanfare Magazine), Quicksilver has been featured at numerous music series and prestigious festivals, receiving critical acclaim, standing ovations and repeat invitations.

ABOUT THE SERIES

The series was founded in 1904, making it the nation's oldest chamber music series. The concerts have been held in Caltech's Beckman Auditorium since 1965, and were held in an earlier campus performance space from 1924 to 1927.
