"What is Good Leadership?" CPA Leadership Workshop Series

The 2nd Workshop of CPA Leadership Workshop Series and Coaching Program will take place next Monday, July 15 from 3-4 pm in 105 Annenberg.

The topic to be addressed is: "What is Good Leadership?"

We will cover:

  1. Characteristics of good and bad leadership/common mistakes of untrained leaders
  2. Different leadership styles and strategies
  3. How to develop and practice one's own unique leadership style

The workshop will be facilitated by Professor Michelle Bligh of Claremont Graduate University.

Prof. Michelle Bligh is currently a Professor of Organizational Behavior at Claremont Graduate University and Interim Dean of the School of Social Science, Policy, and Evaluation (SSSPE) at CGU. Dr. Bligh has taught leadership and change management around the globe, including Europe, Asia, North America, and Latin America. She regularly consults with organizations in the areas of leadership development, followership, organizational culture, and change management in a variety of industries, including law enforcement, finance, healthcare, and real estate.

Participants will learn how to be more effective and inclusive leaders in both their current research position and for future jobs in industry, academia and related career pathways. This is a great opportunity to develop your leadership and soft skills!
