Richard Atwater, Senior Advisor for Southern California Water Coalition, will be giving a talk on the history of water supplies over the past century, reliability and resiliency, and opportunities for reuse and conservation.

Atwater currently serves as the Foothill Municipal Water District board chairman and previously served on the board of the Crescenta Valley Water District. He is on the Board of Directors of the Metropolitan Water District and chaired the 50-year Integrated Water Resource Plan adopted by the MWD. He was the executive director from 2010 to March 2016 and is currently serving as Senior Advisor of the Southern California Water Coalition.

We welcome his multiple decades of water management experience to campus to kick off Earth Week 2019 at Caltech, and we hope you will join us for this lunch seminar.
