Please join the Catech Center for Diversity in welcoming Diana Trujilo for our Latinx Heritage STEMinar. Since 2008, Diana has worked at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory, contributing to both human and robotic space missions. Currently, she is Mission Lead for the Mars Curiosity rover, and has served as Deputy Project System Engineer and Deputy Team Chief of the Engineering division of Curiosity (Mars Science Laboratory). Born and raised in Cali, Colombia, Diana Trujillo is a passionate advocate for STEM education particularly for women and the Hispanic/Latinx community. She is a mentor for the Brooke Owens Fellowship, which she created with her husband; and has been awarded the Jet Populsion Laboratory Bruce Murray Award for Excellence in Education and Public Engagement. https://diversitycenter.caltech.edu/events/RSVP
