Pasadena Unified School District is moving full "STEAM" ahead with dynamic programs. Learn about PUSD's Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math (STEAM) Initiative, including magnet programs at Washington Middle School STEAM Magnet Academy, Jackson Elementary School, and Washington Accelerated Elementary School. PUSD's interdisciplinary approach works across subject areas and grade levels to expand understanding of STEM themes and emphasizes hands-on learning and problem solving. Presenters will discuss the District's interdisciplinary approach to education that focuses on innovative teaching and learning.
