Holey Sheet, Integrability!
Shota Komatsu, IAS,

I will present the first fully-nonperturbative result for the non-BPS structure constants in planar N=4 super Yang-Mills that applies to operators of any size. More specifically, I will discuss the three-point functions of two determinant operators (also known as Giant Gravitons) and one single-trace non-BPS operator. At weak coupling on the gauge-theory side, one can compute these structure constants by generalizing the techniques developed in the matrix model literature, which can be thought of as an example of the "open-closed-open triality" proposed by Gopakumar. On the string theory side, the structure constant can be mapped to an overlap between a boundary state describing the Giant Graviton and a closed-string state describing the single-trace operator. Such overlaps can be regarded as generalizations of the Affleck-Ludwig g-functions and I show how to compute them at finite coupling by using integrability.
