Sounding Titan's seas
Marco Mastrogiuseppe, Postdoc, Planetary Science, Caltech,

Thirteen years of Cassini RADAR observations have revealed the secrets of the Saturn's largest moon, Titan.
This talk reports the major findings of this instrument with particular emphasis to the radar observations of hydrocarbons liquid bodies.
Unexpected echoes received from the floor of the largest seas have turned Cassini into a sounder (Mastrogiuseppe et al., 2014, 2016, 2018), allowing the investigation of depths and composition of seas and lakes (Mastrogiuseppe et al., 2018, 2019) today standing at the surface of the moon. I will discuss results in the context of hydrological and climatological processes on Titan.
