The next workshop as part of the CPA Leadership Workshop Series and Coaching Program will take place next Tuesday, Oct 29 from 4-5 pm in 105 Annenberg in collaboration with Claremont Graduate University.

Topic: Leadership Communication Along the Spectrum - From Autonomy to Micromanagement

Workshop Facilitator: Prof. Michelle Bligh, Professor of Organizational Behavior and Dean of School of Social Science, Policy, and Evaluation (Claremont Graduate University)

Navigating workplace relationships can be extremely challenging, as leaders have to balance what, when, and how to share information with bosses, teammates, and followers. We will focus on two critical elements of leadership communication:1.) initiating difficult conversations and 2.) developing more effective listening strategies. Topics covered will include influence tactics, persuasion, initiating difficult conversations, and active listening skills.

This is a great opportunity to develop your leadership and soft skills and learn about our new Leadership Development Certificate program.

Coffee and cookies will be served. RSVP as space is limited.

Open to postdocs, grad students and the Caltech community.
