In the early 20th Century, the Greenwood neighborhood of Tulsa, Oklahoma, was referred to as Black Wall Street. It was a prosperous, African-American community. That would all end in violence during the 1921Tulsa Race Masacre. Join Monique Thomas and Caltech bioengineering postdoc Leo Green for a history and conversation. This is the first program in our Black Wealth summer series.
