JPL
Larraine Segil, CEO, Larraine Segil Productions, Inc.,

In response to NASA's call for more advanced, technically challenging missions, and a desire to strengthen private sector involvement, new ways of doing business are being considered at JPL. One approach is to improve the interactions of JPL and its industry partners through the use of strategic alliances. These alliances with industry help us develop, infuse, and commercialize advanced technology into our deep space missions. Learn more about how to form strategic alliances and their benefits from Larraine Segil, who consults worldwide on this topic.

She will also talk about success and failure factors — especially corporate culture and managerial personalities!

Segil is CEO of Larraine Segil Productions, Inc., a virtual corporation whose products and services (web-based programs, videos, satellite television, monthly columns, e-mail newsletters, books, etc.) span the globe. She is a regular commentator on CNN on alliances and mergers and has been featured in numerous magazines, including Fast Company, Business Week, CFO, and CIO. Larraine Segil is author of Fast Alliances: Power Your E-Business and Intelligent Business Alliances.

This event is free. All JPL/Caltech personnel are welcome.
