The Caltech PhD Careers Club is proud to host Caltech alum Dr. Kirk Haselton ('84, BS) for a Q&A on careers in technology transfer outside the US. In particular, Kirk will focus on his experiences in Europe working for the German firm Ipal (http://www.ipal.de/en/).
Kirk will focus on the process by which intellectual property is monetized in a non-US setting, and he will shed some light on questions about breaking into the field of technology transfer after obtaining a PhD.
