The Caltech Alpine Club is hosting Reel Rock Tour for the third time, and this time again we have the first showing in Southern California. A collection of world's best climbing movies, taking you from Yosemite to Spain and high Himalayas. The Reel Rock tour is a touring film festival of rock climbing, bouldering, ice climbing, and alpine climbing films in the vein of the successful Banff Mountain Film Festival but more focused on climbing. This year's program features the epic adventures of climbing superstar Alex Honnold, the insane off-width adventure of the "Wide Boyz" and much more!

Peter Gros shares his exciting animal world while introducing friendly exotic animals to the audience. He also tells inspirational stories dealing with wildlife filming, travel and issues of conservation.

Peter Gros has nearly 30 years of field experience with captive wildlife. In his former position as Director of Land Animals and vice president at Marine World/Africa USA, he established breeding programs for 377 endangered animals. He also developed a rehabilitation program for birds of prey, as well as the largest captive breeding colony of ostriches in the United States.

Recently, however, NASA and other space agencies have been transitioning into an era of even deeper exploration, using robotic rovers and landers sent down to the surfaces of many of these worlds. Among the most successful and popular of these have been the recent Mars rover and lander missions—Mars Pathfinder, Spirit, Opportunity, Phoenix, and now Curiosity.

Skippyjon Jones is a little kitten with big ears and even bigger dreams! Sometimes he pretends to be a bird, sometimes he pretends to be a llama, and sometimes he pretends to be a whale… Anything BUT a Siamese cat!

His Mama sends him to his room so that he can think about behaving like the cat he really is. While bouncing on his big boy bed, Skippyjon's wild imagination takes over again as he catches his reflection in a mirror. "Holy guacamole," Skippyjon exclaims. "My ears are too big for my head, my head is too big for my body. I am not a Siamese cat – I am a CHIHUAHUA!"
