Caltech Interactive Map
This map of the Caltech campus was originally created for Netscape 3.0+ and Explorer 4.0+. It continues to work with most browsers, except Safari 1.3. To use the interactive map, you must have JavaScript turned on in your browser.The campus has changed somewhat since the interactive map was created; refer to the printable PDFs for the most accurate map.

Using the interactive map:
Using the map should be fairly straight forward. You can browse the map either by clicking the map itself, choosing the name of the building you want to find, choosing a function such as "Parking" or "Graphic Arts" from the functional list, or if you happen to know the number of the building in question, just type it into the number field and hit return. Navigation of the map includes clicking on arrows to move around or clicking on "ZOOM IN" or "ZOOM OUT" to see the map at different scales. When a building is chosen, its picture will appear as a thumbnail. Click the picture for a closer look at the building.

Known Bugs:
- Some versions of Netscape on UNIX platforms do not properly update the Building Name
- The interactive map does not work at all with Safari 1.3
