JPL DARPA and DHS Programs

The National Space Technology Applications Office (NSTA) at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory focuses on leveraging NASA technology to solve problems of national significance for non-NASA sponsors. Through partnerships with these sponsors, NSTA can also expand and enhance JPL/NASA technology base.
This talk will give an overview of the JPL Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) and Department of Homeland Security (DHS) programs managed by NSTA. The speaker will discuss NSTA's approach and strategy in obtaining DARPA and DHS businesses. Some sample projects will be presented as examples. The speaker will also discuss current DARPA and DHS interests and gaps. The goal of the presentation is to increase partnership between JPL and Caltech to jointly pursue DARPA and DHS business opportunities.
