Organization and Assembly of Neural Circuits
Liqun Luo, Professor, Department of Biology, Stanford University
We study how neural circuits are organized to process information and how they are assembled during development. We use Drosophila and mice as model organisms, and combine advanced molecular genetics with developmental, anatomical, physiological and behavioral approaches. We have also developed genetic tools that allow us to answer these questions with more precision. The talk will be focused on our recent studies of the olfactory circuits.
