Dialup Services Retiring on 9/5/12

Effective September 5, 2012, Caltech dialup modem services, both local and 800 services, will be retired. This change will save Caltech time and money by allowing us to concentrate our efforts in maintaining only the most current networking services to the campus.

If you still use Caltech dialup for connecting to the Caltech network, please instead use an alternate method of accessing the internet (home dialup, DSL, or cable modem) with Caltech VPN in order to connect to the Caltech network. Information about Caltech VPN can be found at http://imss.caltech.edu/help/vpn.
