Caltech Project for Effective Teaching Ice Cream Social and Community Meeting
The Caltech Project for Effective Teaching (CPET, more information below) invites you to join us for our Ice Cream Social on Friday, October 13, from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. in the Center for Teaching, Learning, and Outreach (CTLO, 3rd floor, CSS)! Come to enjoy ice cream and talk about teaching at Caltech, whether you are a seasoned teacher or are just starting out. Join us for the accompanying community meeting where we'll discuss upcoming CPET events and programs and how CPET can best serve you in the coming year!
If you are attending and plan to eat ice cream, RSVP using this form. We will do our best to accommodate any dietary restrictions. Don't want ice cream? You are still welcome to attend and no RSVP is required! We look forward to seeing you there!
What is CPET? CPET (or the Caltech Project for Effective Teaching) is a group of grad students and postdocs dedicated to improving our own teaching and helping others to do the same. Advised by the Center for Teaching, Learning, and Outreach (CTLO), we host seminars, workshops, and discussions on topics related to higher education. We also offer two Teaching Certificate programs to help participants become knowledgeable and effective future faculty. Want to learn more? Check out our website or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
To learn about future CPET events, sign up for our mailing list, to which we periodically send information and updates about teaching-related events, resources, and other items of interest.
