Two Orientations are offered to new scholars at Caltech on November 14, 2012, in the East Bridge Conference Room, 114 (also known as the Robert F. Bacher Room). Childcare in room 57 located in the basement of West Bridge.
Caltech Baby Furniture and Household Equipment Loan Pool is open every Thursday morning. Caltech and JPL employees can borrow maternity clothes, cribs, strollers, high chairs, baby swings, and baby bathtubs, as well as useful household items.
In Aesop's Fables (Jim West Productions), delightful tales of wit and wisdom—including "The Stag at the Pool," "The Tortoise and the Hare," "The Fox and the Grapes," "The Wind and the Sun," and "The Lion and the Mouse"—come to life through the large and colorful puppets of nationally-acclaimed puppeteer and storyteller Jim West.
A walking tour of campus will be led by members of the Caltech Architectural Tour Service. Beginning at the Athenaeum, the tour encompasses the historic campus, a selection of buildings from the modern campus, and the newly expanded north campus.
A representative from the University of Redlands will be available on the patio outside the Caltech Bookstore to discuss evening degree programs for working adults. Classes held on Caltech campus.
