William Bing, Conductor

Featured on the concert band half of the program will be music from "Les Miserables", "On the Town", "West Side Story", and "Candide."  The jazz band will perform music from the Count Basie Library as well as more contemporary sounds from local composers.

Guest conductors will be Christine Loza and Jeffrey Thompson. Both guest conductors have played in the band for many years and will receive their PhDs from Caltech in June.

The same concert will be presented on Friday night.

Ensembles ranging from four cellos, to string quartet, trios of many different combinations, and piano duo will play music by Mozart, Haydn, Brahms, Dvorak, Turina, and Saint-Saëns, including a complete complete performance of Carnival of the Animals.
